Trip Overview

Due to time constrain, 2 days safari option is the best way to experience some of Tanzanian’s amazing wildlife within a short period of time. A visit to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater offers a great wildlife viewing experience for these two days. In these parks, we expect to see a lot of different landscapes and wildlife.

Detailed Itinerary

01 Day 1 - Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast 5:30 am we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via Arusha city and the beautiful high lying farmland of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. Today animals like Leopard, cheater, buffalo, hippo, elephants, big groups of lions, giraffe etc can be seen. Late evening you will transfer back to the campsite.

02 Day 2 - Serengeti Game Drives

The early morning game drive takes you again into the protected Serengeti refuge. The breathtaking savannahs are a stunning backdrop to a diverse and abundant wildlife population throughout the entire year. A leisurely lunch and time to relax before setting out and start to drive back to Ngorongoro area.

03 Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater

Today you will be picked up at your hotel after an breakfast; we will drive few minutes to Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the few areas in Tanzania where you can find such a breathtaking blend of scenery and wildlife coupled with a fascinating historical and cultural element. Today we expect to see rhino, elephants, lions, giraffes, pink flamingos, hyenas, etc. After 8 hours game drive you leave the crater and transfer back to the Airport / Moshi for another overnight.
